About SIF Mechanism

The SIF (Sustained Improvement of Functioning) mechanism was devised by G.S. Ramesh Kumar (1999) as a coalescence of applied psychology and industrial experience. It integrates LISS (Learning), SISS (Solution), RISS (Responsibility), and CISS (Consequence) into a single, sequential mechanism that replaces discrete programmes like 5S, 7QC, and Kaizen — while being simpler and more effective for long-standing problems.
